French manufacturer of commercial equipment

Santos, created in 1954 by André Fouquet, manufactures commercial electrical equipment dedicated to bars, restaurants, juice bars, coffee shops... and offers three different product lines : Fresh Drinks, Food Preparation, Coffee. 

Originally, the company was providing professionnal coffee grinders and cheese graters to small retailers. 65 years after the launch of the first products, Santos continues to grow and the R&D department develops new and innovative products based on our savoir-faire with respect to production of motors. This is one of the reasons why Santos products are reputed for their robustness and reliability.

Santos is now represented in more than 130 countries thanks to our network of resellers and importers who contribute to the success of our brand and products on their markets.

We participate in the most important tradeshows all over the world and develop our products to answer the needs of professionals in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, USA...

The thousands of high quality appliances that are produced in our factory are in the accordance with the most stringent international regulations (UL, GS, NSF, KETI, GOST, etc ...) and can be adapted to all relevant voltages.

Made in France and Supply chain management

Offering high quality products 100% made in France has always been a priority for Santos. Since 1954, all our machines are designed and manufactured in our factory, in Lyon, and our network of suppliers is local.

Santos appliances are hand-made by operators that are responsible of the appliance from the beginning of the production to the final control (100 % tested after assembly). Our solid international experience allows us to be very flexible, we always keep a maximum of items in stock, and we are able to meet tight deadlines.

Innovation, Design, Eco-Conception

Year after year, we develop innovative appliances that are the result of our experience of the market since 1954, and we focus more and more on developping eco-friendly products, integrating green technologies, to meet the needs of our customers.

First company to launch a brushless motor in a blender, food-zone materials without bysphenol A, packaging in moulded cellulose...

Also, our appliances are built to last thanks to their design and the quality of their materials. We supply all spare parts to our customers so that our products are durable and endlessly repairable.

Our aim is to offer foodies, cooking enthusiasts and chefs all over the world quality knives that remain sharp while being beautiful, functional and perfectly balanced. Our knives provide a unique experience with every stage of meal preparation. Together with over 400 employees, we develop and manufacture not only classic but also innovative knives that break new ground in design, material and workmanship.

Many people are surprised to discover that, after over 200 years, our company remains in family hands. Equally unusual is the fact that throughout this time we have demonstrated our loyalty to the City of Blades and still produce only in Solingen.

Production may be cheaper in other international locations, but continuity and long-term vision are important to us and we believe this is exactly the right attitude when it comes to crafting our knives. You could call it caution, but throughout our family history we’ve certainly shown more than enough courage.

The next 200 years will see us keeping to one path come what may: the path to the Trident Works (Dreizackwerk) in the City of Blades, Solingen.

In 1977 the company "Schneider Silikonpapiere" was founded and transformed in 1983 into "Schneider GmbH", having its headquarters at Albershausen, a small town about 40 km from Stuttgart in the Southwest of Germany.

The former core business, the production and processing of siliconised special papers, has been expanded continually by the integration of other companies and the development of innovative new products.

Today our main business sectors are:

• Bakery equipment made of paper, metal, plastics and silicone.
• Paper rolls, thermal paper and thermosensitive special paper for printers and calculators, including fax rolls, thermal rolls and cash register rolls.
• Memo pads for the beverage industry.

These products are produced at two European sites.

With our modern machinery and the use of high quality raw materials, we are able to meet the high standards required by our customers in more than 50 countries.

It is our ambition to continually increase the performance of our company, investing in technical facilities, new tools and know how, in order to be able to offer a wide product range to our commercial partners.
